After a stellar debut as the Michigan Morgan Breeders Futurity Grand Champion, this elegant stallion suffered a nearly life-ending injury that left him crippled for life and redirected his future to the breeding shed. Fortunately, he proved to be exceptional in this new role.
A 3/4 brother to such important breeding and show horses as Stonecroft Byzantine and Stonecroft Neoclassic, we carefully selecting his first crosses and the results were impressive. In 2009, a son and a daughter both showed in the Michigan Morgan Breeders Futurity. DSD Ava won every class she entered, including Grand Champion Futurity Weanling and the RaDon Weanling Spectacular Sweepstakes. As a yearling, she was also the MMHBF's Grand Champion Yearling over the boys and finished her year in the Top Five Grand National Yearling Fillies at Oklahoma.
DSD Zingerman won the Michigan Futurity's Weanling Colt class and tied an impressive fourth in a huge class of weanlings in the RaDon Weanling Spectacular Sweepstakes behind his stablemate. As a yearling, he was Top Ten at the Grand National in both his Yearling Colt class as well as the World Futurity. He is now finding his niche in the western pleasure division and has been winning tricolors from coast to coast. In 2018, he was the USEF Western Pleasure Champion in his Region.
DSD Gratzi has been winning at the very competitive hunter pleasure division, earning the Grand National Hunter Pleasure Ladies Amateur Mares Championship her first year. Since then, she went on to team up with a mother/daughter who have won with her from walk-trot to ladies and amateur.
Although we lost Kix this past year, we do have frozen semen available for $500/dose.
